An energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001: one of the core areas of M&P.
Digital ‘smart office’ solutions from M&P.
The modern-day smart office offers a wide range of applications that increase functionality, convenience and cost-effectiveness. And the potential for the future is huge: because the smart office approach is making things that are currently still technically or economically beyond our imagination conceivable and, thanks to rapid technological development, in many cases even feasible – an innovation driver for the entire industry.
The requirements are often software-heavy, but also related to the building equipment. In particular, smart metering, intelligent access control, lighting control and situation-dependent air exchange have now become state of the art in building technology. However, topics such as indoor navigation are also related to building technology planning, as the sensors for location determination must be intelligently integrated into the building and, ideally, the navigation is based on a BIM model.
In many cases, smart office approaches serve to improve quality and user satisfaction, and corresponding business cases (profitability of the use cases) can only be calculated to a limited extent. However, smart office topics specific to building technology in particular make sense from an economic point of view:
There is virtually no limit to the networking options of the smart office, which means it still has great potential for further development. This makes the technology a sustainable investment in the future, which continuously generates new added value under changing conditions and requirements. The huge range of potential applications makes one thing very clear: virtually any company can benefit from a smart office – because it offers everything our customers expect from digitisation, from intelligently controlled in-depth solutions to fully smart office buildings.
